A delegation involving representatives from major Ethiopian companies will visit Egypt within the first quarter of 2015, said head of Egyptian-Ethiopian Business Council.
According to Ayman Eissa – Head of the Egyptian-Ethiopian Business Council – the Ethiopian business delegation aims to discuss opportunities for Ethiopian investments in Egypt’s industrial sectors.
The Ethiopian party will complete electing its members at the Egyptian-Ethiopian Business Council before the end of the current year, he added. This comes before holding the first meeting between the council’s Egyptian and Ethiopian parties next January in Cairo.
From his part, Solomon Afework – President of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association (ECCSA) – stressed that the Ethiopian business community is keen to exchange trade expertise with Egyptian businessmen.
Moreover, Afework referred to ample opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Ethiopia in sectors of infrastructure, tourism and hotels.
