Egypt to establish Ain Sokhna maritime line connecting East Africa

Egypt’s of Public Business Enterprise  is planning  to carry out a maritime line between  Ain Sokhna Port and one of the ports in the East of Africa in order to boost the Egyptian exports in Africa,  Hisham Tawfik said.

The new maritime line will be officially inaugurated during next October, Tawfik added.

He explained that the ministry’s plan aims to provide all services to exporters, whether through the establishment of a logistics center in Uganda or Zambia where it is scheduled to conduct a road transport from the companies’ factories to Ain Sokhna Port

In addition, the ministry seeks to establish warehouses  and maritime transportation lines to the African countries by April 2020.
