by Hesham Ibrahim

Egypt seeks to increase volume of its non-petroleum exports to around $30 billion by 2020, Minister of Trade and Industry Amr Nassar said on Monday.

“Our 2020 industrial development strategic goal as a ministry is to continue working on the deepening of local manufacturing and cutting of imports to reach an 8 percent target sector growth annually.” Nassar said.

Nassar added that the government would launch soon a new web portal to demonstrate procedures related to the allocation and pricing of land plots for industrial investment.
