Egypt Says to Get French, Romanian, German, U.S. Wheat Offers

Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) received the following offers for its wheat-import tender on Wednesday, according to two traders involved in the tender.

The grain is for shipment in the Dec. 16-31 period. Each cargo is 60,000 metric tons unless otherwise indicated and prices are per ton.

French
– Louis Dreyfus at $291.84
– Glencore at $293.80
– Bunge at $302
– Lecureur at $297.90
– Soufflet at $293.95
– InVivo at $296.50

Romanian
– Ameropa at $295

German
– Cargill at $302.50

U.S.
– Louis Dreyfus at $274.28 (55,000 tons for Jan. 20-31 shipment,
soft red winter)
