The Egyptian market is still one of the most important 20 markets for HSBC, despite the turbulent economic situation in the country, said Halla Sakr, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HSBC.
HSBC expected, in a recent report, that the oil revenues will boost the GDP of Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the next years with Asia’s increasing demand for oil.
