The Egyptian Ministry of Finance offered 182-and 357-day treasury bills worth EGP 6 billion in an auction today.
182-day T-bills worth EGP 2.5 billion are offered at average rate of 13.30%. Yields on 182-day T-bills ranged from 13.250% to 13.370%.
357-day T-bills worth EGP 3.5 billion are offered at average rate of 13.359%. Yields on 357-day T-bills ranged from 13.250% to 13.630%.
91-day T-bills worth EGP one billion and 266-day T-bills worth EGP 3.5 billion will be offered next Sunday. 91-,182-, 273- and 364- day T-bills and 3-,5- and 7-year bonds worth EGP 48 billion are being offered in December. The 91-, 182-, 273- and 364- day T-bills are offered at values of EGP 5.5 billion, EGP 9.5 billion, EGP 14 billion and EGP 14.5 billion respectively.
The Central Bank of Egypt, which sells T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, plans to offer 3-year bonds worth EGP 2 billion (mature in October 2015), 5-year bonds worth EGP 1.5 billion (mature in November 2017) and 7-year bonds worth EGP 2 billion (mature in November 2019) in December.
