Egypt holds on to coronavirus partial lockdown, shortens curfew hours

Egypt has slightly revised an imposed nighttime curfew to run until 4 am instead of a previous 6 am starting Sunday to curb the spread coronavirus, minister of State for Information Osama Heikal announced.

The government will study the possibility of reopening mosques and churches as well as resuming congregational religious activities by the beginning of July within the governorates with less coronavirus cases.

In addition, The tourism and aviation sectors will start operating in the coastal governorates less affected by  Coron virus, starting July.
