Under the rubric “A Road to develop National Projects”, the second edition of the Annual Builders of Egypt Forum will witness for two days the Egyptian government’s vision to carry out anticipated national projects.
The implementation of planned national projects is the catalyst for achieving Egypt’s sustainable development strategy for 2030, said Dina Abdel Fattah, Secretary-General of Builders of Egypt Forum, in an opening speech Tuesday.
By 2030, Egypt government is targeting an average growth rate of 7 percent and a private-sector participation up to 75 percent in development schemes.
Abdel Fattah further referred that around 60 speakers representing Egyptian government alongside some Arab and global organisations are participating in the forum to present for the first time a comprehensive vision for planned national projects, notably the Suez Canal Axis, the New Administrative Capital, and Greening of 1.5 million feddans, and the National Road Scheme.
The second edition of the Annual Builders of Egypt Forum running in Cairo between March 1 and 2, organised by the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors.
