Egypt has signed on Wednesday seven cooperation agreements with Germany, including four deals for the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation during Egypt’s participation at the Arab-Germany Business Forum.

Meanwhile, Egypt and Germany agreed to start preparing a framework of a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian Railways and the German Railways.

The framework will define the proposed areas of cooperation, the Egyptian needs in the various technical support sectors, and means of financing in preparation for launching the proposed cooperation agreement as soon as possible.

This came during Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly’s visit to Germany where he met Wednesday with President of the German Railways Company Richard Lotus.

The Arab-German Business Forum kicked off Wednesday in Berlin, with the participation of Egypt’s Prime Minister Madbouy, who will deliver a speech to review the economic indicators of Egypt.

The importance of Egypt’s participation in this year’s forum lies in the factthat Egypt is the guest of honor of the current session. Hence, the Egyptian participation represents an excellent opportunity to promote the investment opportunities that Egypt possesses.

The forum is attended by about 600 businessmen from both the Arab and German sides. It is an important economic and investment forum for cooperation and economic and trade partnerships.
