Egypt eliminates terrorist cell during gunfight, killing one officer

The Egyptian security forces managed to eliminate a terrorist cell hiding in Al Amiriya neighborhood in Cairo after a lengthy fire exchange during the night curfew imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, according to state media.

Lieutenant officer Mohammed Fawzy Al Hofi was killed during the gunfight.

The terrorist elements were taking hideout in Al Amiriya neighborhood in Cairo governorate.
