Egypt’s central bank will be issuing Sunday treasury bills worth 20.25 billion Egyptian pounds ($2.3 billion) to fill the country’s state budget deficit.
In a statement on Saturday, the bank said it would raise three treasury bills on Sunday; the first worth 4.75 billion Egyptian pounds, to mature in 91 days. The second is at value of 4.75 billion pounds, to mature in 182 days; while the third is worth 5.25 billion pounds, to mature in 273 days. The fourth amounts to 5.5 billion pounds, to mature in 364 days.
