EGX’s Midday Gains reach L.E 4.6 billion

On Thursday’s midday session, the EGX has managed to post gains of L.E 4.6 billion as the capital market amounted to L.E 376.565 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 went up 1.86% to reach 5185.38 p. EGX20 raised 2.09% to reach 6066.4 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 increased 1.44% to reach 488.13 p. Price index EGX100 hiked 1.36% to reach 832.84 p.

Trades came to 12.497 transactions; worth L.E 232.387 million and volume amounted to 80.879 million shares.

This was after trading in 150 listed securities; 16 down and 126 up while 8 keeping their previous levels.
