Egypt’s stocks increased at midday session on Tuesday registering gains of 1.1billion Egyptian pounds backed by Arab investors buying appetite. In addition, the country’s main stock index, EGX30 exceeds 9755.9points.
Meanwhile, the EGX indices were wavering in green notes during the midday session of Tuesday.
Indices
The Benchmark EGX30 hiked by 0.29% to 9755.9p, and EGX20 inched up by 0.31% to 11540.23 p.
In addition, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 rose by 0.66% to 627.69 p. Yet, the Price index EGX100 increased by 0.44% to 1148.15 p.
Furthermore, market capitalization reached EGP 525.8 billion.
Trading Volumes & Values
The trading volume has recorded 40.4 million securities worth EGP 164.23 million, exchanged through 7 thousand transactions during Tuesday midday.
Also during the midday session, 138 listed securities have been traded in; 44 fell, 64 advanced; while 30 keeping their previous levels.
Investors’ Activities
The Arab investors were net buyers acquiring at midday trade 2.59% of the total market, with a net equity of EGP 2.01 million, excluding the deals.
On the other hand, foreign and Egyptian investors were net sellers net equity of EGP 4.1 million and EGP930.1 thousands seizing 82.97% ,14.4% , excluding the deals.
