Egypt’s stock market closed in the green on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 rose by 3.27 per cent, to 27,719.37 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 2.26 per cent, to 6,478.12 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 2.68 per cent, to 9,242.62 points.
The total market cap reached 1,961,805,319,093 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians’ and Arabs’ transactions were mainly selling with a total of 119,556,032 Egyptian pounds, and 25,851,191 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the non-Arabs were net buyers with 145,407,223 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Sunday
The shares of Mohandes Insurance (MOIN.CA) rose by 20.00 per cent, to trade at 22.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Memphis Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries (MPCI.CA) climbed by 19.99 per cent, to close at 72.920 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) (EGCH.CA) went up by 19.95 per cent, to the purchasing price of 15.990 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
The shares of Iron And Steel for Mines and Quarries (ISMQ.CA) fell by 5.75 per cent, to trade at 3.280 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Misr National Steel (ATQA.CA) declined by 5.67 per cent, to close at the price of 4.490 Egyptian pounds.
The shares of Egyptian Iron and Steel (IRON.CA) dropped by 4.97 per cent, to the purchasing price of 16.250 Egyptian pounds a share.
