At the beginning of the trading process today, the EGX has gone up by 0.51% due to foreigners and international institutions ‘s bulk purchases of leading shares through the EGX30 from Egyptians, Arabs and individuals selling processes.
The EGX30 witnessed a rise to reach 4733.12 points; 43 shares were traded in: 17 rose and 16 diminished while the rest remained stable.
Total volume traded at the beginning of the process today (Thursday) amounted to L.E7.7 million.
On the shares, Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT) SAE rose 9.9% to L.E1.44. The Egyptian Financial & Industrial Company (EFIC) brought in 5.19% profits to L.E10.13. Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling (ALCN) rose to 4.74% to L.E73.18 and the Egyptian Company for Mobile Services Mobinil (EMOB) increased 4.4% to LE.130.88.
Furthermore, the Egyptians and Arabs’ transactions tend to sell so the net sale valued at L.E282.4 thousand and L.E59.1 respectively while the foreigners’ transactions inclined towards purchasing so the net purchase valued at L.E341.6.
