The EGX has managed to earn L.E86 million on Tuesday’s closing trading session. As a result, the market capital of the listed stocks has reached L.E368.834 billion.
EGX30 has witnessed a slide of %0.65 to close at 5066p, while EGX20 has witnessed a rise of %1.61 to close at 5899p. In addition, EGX70 has witnessed a rise of %1.74 to close at 488p; the EGX100 has witnessed an increase of %1.36 to close at 812.14p.
The market has recorded an amount of trading valued at L.E863.206 million through 261.563 million shares in 49.835 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 185 listed securities; the price of 119 rose and of 52 diminished while the price of the rest (14 securities) remained fixed.
On Tuesday’s trading session, Egyptians and Arabs were responsible for purchasing activity for L.E127.827 million and L.E16.968 million respectively, while the foreign investors made up L.E144.795 million of the selling activity.
The leading shares have recorded collective slide except Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT) which has witnessed a rise of %9.72 to close at L.E1.58.
The EGX collective slide was led by Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE) which has witnessed a slide of %3.76 to close at L.E4.20. The EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO) has also witnessed a slide of %0.16 to close at L.E12.89. In addition, The Commercial International Bank- Egypt (COMI) has downed by %1.48 to close at L.E23.98.
