Egypt’s stock market closed in the green on Monday.
The main index EGX30 rose by 2.10 per cent to 29,227.79 points.
The small to mid-sized enterprises’ index, EGX70, climbed by 1.06 per cent to 6,795.92 points, and EGX100 jumped by 0.97 per cent to 9,636.93 points.
The market cap reached 2,070,217,830,192 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptian and Arab individuals were net sellers with a total of -517,458,336 Egyptian pounds, and -80,853,666 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners’ transactions were buying with a total of 4,306,356 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of Misr Chemical Industries (MICH.CA) rose by 19.99 per cent, to trade at 62.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) climbed by 19.93 per cent, to close at 3.670 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptian Transport (EGYTRANS) (ETRS.CA) soared by 14.44 per cent, to close at 5.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of Rights Issue Of Egyptians For Investment &Urban Development1 (EIUD.CA) declined by 15.66 per cent, to close at 0.070 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arab Moltaka Investments Co (AMIA.CA) dropped by 5.14 cent, to close at 2.950 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance (SEIG.CA) fell by 5.12 per cent, to close at 70.930 Egyptian pounds a share.
