Egypt’s stock market closed in the green area on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 rose by 0.54 per cent, to 28,434.37 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 4.79 per cent, to 6,630.12 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 4.20 per cent, to 9,362.72 points.
The total market cap reached 2,011,523,514,097 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptian and Non-Arab Foreigners transactions were mainly buying with a total of 23,946,309 Egyptian pounds, and 4,827,494 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net sellers with 28,773,803 Egyptian pounds.

The shares of Iron and Steel for Mines and Quarries (ISMQ.CA) rose by 19.89 per cent, to close at the price of 4.520 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Misr National Steel – Ataqa (ATQA.CA) climbed by 19.20 per cent, to trade at the price of 4.780 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Lecico Egypt (LCSW.CA) jumped by 16.49 per cent, to the purchasing price of 23.240 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Thursday
The shares of Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding-EGP (EKHO.CA) fell by 8.27 per cent, to close at 44.260 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Sabaa International Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry (SIPC.CA) declined by 6.09 per cent, to close at 0.786 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Taaleem Management Services (TALM.CA) dropped by 5.40 per cent, to close at the price of 6.130 Egyptian pounds a share.
