Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in the green on Sunday. The main index EGX30 rose by 3.47 per cent to 28,625.76 points, while the small to mid-sized enterprises’ index, EGX70, climbed by 2.14 per cent to 6,724.72 points, and EGX100 jumped by 2.41 per cent to 9,544.58 points.
The market cap reached 2,048,727,912,545 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with a total of 769,382,651 Egyptian pounds, and 39,619,709 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the non-Arab Foreigners’ transactions were selling with a total of 809,002,360 Egyptian pounds.

The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) rose by 20.00 per cent, to trade at 3.060 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Alexandria Containers and Goods (ALCN.CA) climbed by 16.95 per cent, to close at 69.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals – SIDPEC (SKPC.CA) soared by 16.90 per cent, to close at 41.500 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Rights Issue Of Egyptians For Investment &Urban Development1 (EIUD.CA) declined by 6.74 per cent, to close at 0.083 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Al Baraka Bank Egypt (SAUD.CA) dropped by 6.56 per cent, to close at 14.950 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) fell by 4.85 per cent, to close at 41.160 Egyptian pounds a share.
