Egypt’s stock market closed mixed on Wednesday, with the main index, EGX30 dropping by 0.37 per cent to 25,408.51.
The small to mid-sized enterprises’ EGX70 rose by 0.41 per cent to 5,663.94.
The index EGX100, climbed by 0.4 per cent to 8,143.41.
The end-of-day exchange recorded 3.60 billion Egyptian pounds through the exchange of 1.26 billion shares, while the market cap value stood at 1.752 trillion pounds.
The Egyptians’ and foreigners’ transactions tended to buying with a total of 47.1 million pounds and 18.7 million pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs’ transactions leaned towards selling with 65.7 million pounds.
