Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Monday. The main index, EGX30 jumped by 1.12 per cent, to 29,452.4 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 soared by 1.64 per cent, to 7,490.41 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 1.40 per cent, to 10,449.53 points.
The total market cap reached 2,077,393,762,522 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Non-Arab Foreigners’ transactions were mainly buying with a total of 1,958,348,124 Egyptian pounds, and 72,159,953 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Arabs were net sellers with 2,030,508,076 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of Arabian Food Industries DOMTY (DOMT.CA) rose by 19.96 per cent, to close at the price of 16.770 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of A Capital Holding (ACAP.CA) climbed by 19.93 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.360 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Six of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation (WKOL.CA) jumped by 17.07 per cent, to the purchasing price of 111.570 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) fell by 9.34 per cent, to close at 26.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) declined by 3.42 per cent, to close at 13.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Memphis Pharmaceuticals (MPCI.CA) dropped by 2.96 per cent, to close at the price of 105.280 Egyptian pounds a share.
