During the closing session of Sunday, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has posted gains of EGP 6.4 billion the capital market has amounted to EGP 366.705 billion.
The indices closed in green.
The main index, EGX30 soared by 2.72% to end at 5303.62 p. EGX20 pushed up by 2.25% to close at 6087.46 p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 climbed by 2.97% to conclude at 477.09 pts. Price index EGX100 edged up by 2.80% to finish at 795.12 p.
Traded volume reached 148.791 million securities worth EGP 498.897 million, exchanged 26.651 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 182 listed securities; 15 declined, 153 advanced; while 14 keeping their previous levels.
The non-Arab foreigners’ closing buying deals have backed EGX’s gains as they were net buyers seizing 9.53% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 33.438 million excluding the deals.
On the other hand, Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers seizing 85.65% and 4.82% respectively, of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 28.918 million and EGP 4.519 million excluding the deals.
