Digitisation drastically changing the world, countries have to catch up – professor

World economies have to catch up the ongoing technological transformations, as digitisation will dramatically change the economic world, said Hartmut Meyer, professor at German university FOM, on Wednesday.

“We need to change our thinking tremendously. It’s no longer like the theories about humans against technology. It’s now about humans WITH technology.” Meyer said at the International Council for Small Business’ (ICSB) World Congress taking place in Cairo.

“The economic world is changing dramatically, because all economies now starting to do initial investments, and that means we need to seek the advantages of this developing.” Meyer added.
