The Computer and Software General Division is planning to launch the third forum of computers next April in cooperation with 350 firms of all governorates with the participation of representatives from the global entities operating in Egypt, such as Intel, Google and Microsoft.
Khalil Hassan Khalil, the Head of the Computer Division, has confirmed that the Division will hold the third forum of computers in Smart village on 8 April with the participation of 350 firms from different governorates, referring that the current political and economic events won’t affect the division’s intent to hold the 3rd forum.
Khalil has emphasized to Amwal Al Ghad that the 3rd forum includes three sessions, the first session is headed by Ahmed Al-Wakeel, Head of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and Vice President of the General Union of Arab Chambers, for discussing the challenges facing the Egyptian economy with the political and economic conditions that the country is witnssing.
He added that the second session is headed by Eng. Yasser ElKady, the CEO of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) with many representatives from the National Bank of Egypt and economists so as to discuss the solutions and proposals to emerge from this crisis, noting that the last session is to discuss the future strategies in computers with representatives from Google, Microsoft and Intel firms.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the invited companies are the representatives of different governorates without any conditions, adding that the main target of the 3rd forum is to reach an effective solutions and proposals in order to get out of the current economic crisis.
