Dr. Mohammed Salim -Minister of Communications and Information Technology- approved to care for a number of projects of the Chamber of Information Technology, within the financing direction for the development of the Information Technology Industrial Development Authority “ITIDA”, including the support of participation in specialized exhibitions inside and outside Egypt for the corporate members of the Chamber, as well as participating in digital Arabic content project.
During his meeting with the Chamber of the IF industry today, Salim asked the members to join the committee charged with developing the strategy of digital Arabic content, which has been already formed, and it includes a number of relevant ministries, companies, and experts, in order to benefit from their experience, and screen their proposals to the Committee for benefiting them in the new strategy
For their part, members of the Chamber talked -during the meeting- about the need to issue new projects and participate in them through the ministry, besides contributing to financing them, noting that the chamber is seeking a number of meetings in this regard, with the decision makers in governmental agencies such as the Ministry of Administrative Development, and Education and others.
The meeting also reviewed a number of proposed projects which implementation is adopted by the chamber during the next stage, as the Chamber has requested the ministry to support these projects, through listing a number of them within the projects’ system supported by “ITIDA”.
