Coldwell Banker Egypt, in partnership with Estate Waves, has launched Egypt’s first virtual reality (VR) real estate platform, Meta Egypt, Coldwell Banker announced on May 8.

Meta Egypt showcases 450 real estate projects from major development companies in Egypt, and is set to showcase 30,000 residential, commercial and administrative units from 100 real estate development firms in Egypt.

“The platform uses the metaverse technology allowing customers to virtually tour properties, and even tour the cities where they are located, in addition to touring the whole unit and checking the possible finishing and furnishing of the unit,” said Karim Zein, CEO of Coldwell Banker Egypt.

The platform showcases underdeveloped projects, as well as developed projects, and utilises VR to promote the projects, and enhance the sale process and access to customers, Zein added.

Meta Egypt has been underdevelopment for three years, with investments of 150 billion Egyptian pounds.
