CIS Egypt wins textile major Arab Polvara’s insurance policy tender

Cooperative Insurance Society Egypt (CIS) has won a property insurance policy tender launched by Arab Polvara Spinning and Weaving, one of the country’s largest textile firms.

Arab Polvara’s policy is a one-year term, with a total sum insured of 212 million Egyptian pounds ($11.7 million) designated to insure its assets and property, CIS managing director Anwar Zekri told Amwal Al Ghad on Thursday.

The policy will insure Arab Polvara’s factory and affiliated units against damages from fire, Zekri added.
