Chevron Egypt to Provide NNC with Marine Lubricants for 3 Years

Chevron Egypt has signed this morning a 3-year contract with the National Navigation Company (NNC) to supply the latter with marine diesel oil and lubricants.

Hisham El-Kabbany – Chevron Country Chair and Area Business Manager – told Amwal Al Ghad that his firm is planning to reinforce its capacity for marine fuels manufacture in order to meet with an expected growth in Egyptian market demand.

El-Kabbany further noted that Chevron will rank the first position as a leading supplier of marine fuels worldwide by early January 2014.

Capt. Hassan El-Sherbiny – General Manager of marine and technical affairs for National Navigation Co. – has stressed the importance of the contract signed with Chevron Egypt since it shall increase his company’s marine fuel supplies. He also referred that his firm’s capital amounts to US $ 220 million, having around 14 fleets at Egyptian and international ports.
