Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Wednesday it would offer $500 million in dollar-denominated treasury bills at an auction on Tuesday.
Both Egyptian and foreign financial institutions are eligible to subscribe to the one-year T-bills, which will mature on June 18, 2013, CBE said in an emailed statement.
It will be the sixth issue since CBE introduced the instrument in November, Reuters reported.
