On behalf of the Egyptian Finance Ministry , the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) succeeded to sell 1.5-and-5and-10 year Treasury Bonds worth EGP6 billion.
The Ministry stated that 1.5-year zero-coupon bonds has been sold with EGP2 billion, registering an average return of 11.456% , the less is 11.24% and the highest reached 11.62% , in addition 1.81 times has been covered.
The second offering which is 5-year reached EGP2 billion, recording average return of 12.904% , the less is 12.55% and the highest reached 12.99% , in addition 1.5 times has been covered.
The Ministry explained that the third offering which is 10-year up EGP2 billion, recording average return of 14.636%, highest is 14.80%, the less is 14.4% in addition 1.31 times has been covered.
The total issuance of governmental bonds are around 30% from the total issuance, against 20% in the last quarter, and this meets with the general debt.
