Cairo governorate intends to deliver a low-income housing project of 2600 units within 2016, at cost of EGP 400 million.
Hany Shenish – Director of Cairo Housing Directorate – asserted on Saturday that the governorate would select the contracting firms to implement the project within the coming month after reviewing their financial offers.
Shenish also stated that Cairo cooperates with governmental entities to finance the housing project, which is considered as one of governorate’s goals to develop the city.
Furthermore, the official said the project is located in El Salam and Badr cities on a space of 110 feddans.
Shenish pointed out that the governorate provided the project with all necessary utilities to help companies to execute the project within a maximum of a year.
