Business France: 12 French firms seek sugar investments in Egypt

Around 12 French companies are pursuing for opportunities to invest in Egypt’s sugar industry through a four-day visit to the country, said Ludovic Prévost, director of the governmental Business France’s Cairo office.

The French firms visiting Egypt nowadays will look for opportunities for cooperation and investment in the Egyptian public and private sectors operating in the sugar industry.

During the French-Egyptian Symposium held in Cairo Tuesday, Prévost said the French delegation that visits Egypt nowadays encompasses equipment providers and firms for engineering services.

Founded on January 1, 2015, Business France is a national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, responsible for fostering export growth by French businesses, as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France.

It promotes France’s companies, business image and nationwide attractiveness as an investment location.
