BPE Partners, the venture capital arm of Egypt’s asset manager Beltone Financial, plans to list some of its shares on the country’s stock exchange in October, chief executive Abdel-Monem Omran on Tuesday.
Founded in 2006, BPE Partners, formerly known as Beltone Private Equity, specialises in growth capital investments and turnaround.
Its portfolio includes Total Egypt, Madinet Nasr Housing and Development (MNHD), PGESCo, Giza Systems, Cairo Kidney Center, Bio Pharma Egypt, Cairo for Development and Car Manufacturing (CDCM–Peugeot Egypt), Upper Egypt Leasing, Rawaj Auto Loan, Kahromika, and Al Ismaelia for Real Estate.
