The largest financial services provider in the sultanate, bank muscat, announced a new identity and strategy for its sales department on Tuesday.
The bank’s sales department will now be known as Sa’ed which in Arabic means ‘to help’ or ‘your arm’ and will reach out to customers at their doorstep.
Speaking at a press conference at the bank head office, Abdullah Tamman al Maashani, AGM of direct and institutional sales, said that the bank has changed the strategy for its sales department and aims to boost business
growth through direct sales.
He said, “Sa’ed is a strategy which is in line with evolving customer requirements. We believe that we can achieve a lot more from direct sales. Sa’ed conveys the message of reaching out and meeting the requirements of customers at their levels, wherever they may be, irrespective of they being individuals, government or private sector institutions.”
“Sa’ed proactively will reach out to customers to meet all their banking requirements through bank muscat’s products and services.
“We understand customer needs and the Sa’ed team is available to suggest suitable financial solutions for them,” he added.
