Asian markets briefing 23/08/2023

The Asian markets witnessed a drop in the Chinese main index, SSEC, by -1.34 percent to 3,078.4, losing -41.93 points.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 soared by 0.48 percent and gained 153.55 points to close at 32,010.26.

Hong Kong’s HSI climbed by 0.31 percent and gained 54.91 points to reach a value of 17,845.92.
