Asian markets briefing 05/04/2023

The Asian markets witnessed an incline in the Chinese main index, SSEC, by 0.49 percent to 3,312.56. The index gained 16.16 points, recording a day high value of 3,312.56 and a day low value of 3,290.99.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, fell by -1.68 percent to 27,813.26, losing 474.16 points. The index recorded a day high value of 28,133.57 and a day low value of 27,788.77.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, closed at 20,274.59 after it fell by -0.66 percent. The index lost 134.59 points, recording a day high value of 20,364.36 and a day low value of 20,126.90.
