Asia-Pacific shares have mixed on Tuesday after sharp falls to start the week following Fed Powell’s militant speech in Jackson Hole.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 1.14 percent to end the session at 28,195.58, and the Topix index added 1.25 percent to 1,968.38.
South Korea index – Kospi gained 0.99 percent to 2,450.93, and the Kosdaq increased 2.2 percent to 797.02.
Australia index S&P/ASX 200 recorded 0.47 percent higher at 7,230.40.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index decreased 0.42 percent in the final hour of trade.
The Hang Seng Tech index trading slipped by 0.7perecent, while mainland China markets shrank.
The Shanghai Composite fell 0.42 percent to 3,227.22, and the Shenzhen Component shed 0.39 percent to 11,970.79.
