Egypt’s Arab Contractors studies carrying out the fourth phase of Cairo Metro Line 3 project through an alliance of three construction firms, chairman Mohsen Salah announced Thursday.
In an exclusive statement to Amwal Al Ghad, Arab Contractors’ chairman confirmed that the Egyptian Ministry of Transportation had tasked an alliance of three construction firms to carry out the fourth phase.
This alliance includes Nasr General Contracting Co. – Hassan Allam, Misr Concrete Development Co., and El Nasr Company for Buildings and Constructions (Egyco).
Arab Contractors will sign the final contract to join the alliance in carrying out the fourth phase as soon as it finalises its negotiations with the ministry of transportation within the upcoming months, the chairman added.
The new phase, which includes 5 stations, will run for 5km between Heliopolis’ Haroun station and Al-Nozha 1, with investment cost of 4 billion Egyptian pounds.
