ARAB National Bank (ANB) recently inaugurated its new high-tech Ministry of Health branch located inside Dahbab Towers complex in Riyadh.
The ceremony was attended by ANB Board Chairman, Engineer Salah bin Rashid Al Rashid, Managing Director Dr. Robert Eid, plus a number of senior officials from MOH and ANB.
After cutting the ribbon, Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah and other dignitaries took a tour of the branch and were briefed on its advanced facilities including the new interactive digital touch screen kiosks, being the first technology of its kind in Saudi Arabia, and an integral part of the ANB digital communications strategy as recently launched in ATM sites as part of the new look of ANB.
The user-friendly kiosks enable customers to obtain latest information on products and services, interact via e-mail and determine eligibility and loan amount available based upon individual circumstances.
Al Rashed said the Minister of Health’s visit was a demonstration of his continued support of the banking sector.
He added that the new branch will be mainly serving ministries and public sector organizations, and is part of a comprehensive expansion plan by ANB, which has witnessed significant progress in its banking products and services due to the robust Saudi economic growth, confidence of its customers, and sincere efforts of ANB staff.
ANB has 189 branches, 44 of which are ladies branches/sections, and 142 branches providing Shariah-compliant products & services in the Kingdom.
The branch network is further enhanced by alternative distribution channels which include 980 ATMs covering the Kingdom, plus a branch in London UK catering to ANB’s clients abroad.
