Al Baraka Bank Egypt’s portfolio of Murabaha, Mudaraba and Musharaka stood at EGP 6.531 billion at the end of last September, compared to EGP 5.961 billion at the end of 2011, registering an increase of EGP 570.1 million (9.5%).
The bank’s financial statements showed that the deposits portfolio held by the bank surged by EGP 844.9 million (6.6%), registering EGP 13.50 billion at the end of last September, compared to EGP 12.66 billion at the end of 2011.
The bank’s funds and balances held by the Central bank of Egypt (CBE) stood at 902.4 million at the end of last September, compared to EGP 1.336 billion at the end of last December.
The bank’s balances held by other banks reached EGP 173.4 million at the end of last September, compared to EGP 81.9 million at the end of the last year.
The bank’s assets rose by EGP 1.017 billion, registering EGP 15.868 billion at the end of last September, compared to EGP 14.851 billion at the end of 2011.
The bank achieved net profit of EGP 101.878 million at the end of last September, compared to EGP 89.396 million at the end 2011, registering an increase of EGP 12.48 million.
