Egypt’s construction firm, Al-Abd said on Monday it plans to complete delivering 1,440 housing units at the sixth residential district in the country’s new capital within next December.
The housing units will cost 750 million Egyptian pounds ($47 million), Al-Abd’s managing director Said Fattouh told Amwal Al Ghad.
“We are current developing 36 fully-fledged buildings in the new capital’s sixth residential district,” Fattouh said, adding that these buildings are to be handed over next December.
During the last period, Al-Abd was mandated by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) – an agency under the Ministry of Housing – to execute some utilities works worth around 200 million pounds in the new capital, he said.
