Afreximbank signs cooperation deal with Comoros’ ANPI at IATF 2023

The African Export–Import Bank (Afreximbank) has on Friday signed a cooperation agreement with the Comoros National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI) at Africa’s largest trade and investment fair, IATF 2023 taking place in Cairo, Egypt.

The agreement aims to facilitate greater interaction among both institutions to jointly co-ordinate trade missions and exhibitions as well as availing expertise for in-country fact finding and business opportunities.

Both parties agreed to set esteemed committee that will take in charge of reviewing and analyzing many projects, events, or conferences. The agreement will help share ideas and discuss common problems for the overall purpose of improving relationship and cooperation among member countries.

Afreximbank will also offer a range of grants for technical assistance and capacity building programmes and member countries who meet the criteria can apply for the programmes.

Lizanne Case, Head of Trade Intelligence Solutions, Office of the President at Afreximbank, signed the agreement with Nadjati Soidiki, Director General at ANPI.
