Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Hesham Zazou, received Isolde Moylan, the Irish ambassador to Egypt- Cormac Gallagher, deputy chairman of the Irish delegation and Siham Charles, Commercial Adviser.
Zazou affirmed that the Egyptian side seeks certain cooperation with the Irish Tourism Authority. He discussed the tourism in Egypt; especially after lifting travel ban on Egypt in China and Japan, as well as the USA.
The minister said the Egyptian Tourism Ministry will promote Egypt in a different way. It will host tourism events in order to restore trust in Egypt’s tourist attractions.
Zazou asserted that there is a coordination with Minister of State for Archaeological Affairs to develop the tourist attractions
The Irish ambassador, on her side, said its country is ready for cooperating with the Egyptian Tourism Ministry.
This came in the framework of the agreement of cultural, educational and scientific coop0eration between the two countries, according to the MoU for tourism cooperation between the two countries that expected to be signed soon.
