Ministry of Public Utilities, one of the three new ministry’s in Kandil’s government formed one month ago, has acquired the second and third floors at the headquarter of the Ministry of Housing.
An official source emphasized that the organizational structure of the Ministry is about to be finalized and that the Ministry of Public Utilities will move to its new headquarter by the middle of this month at maximum. He added that Khalifa currently performs the duties of his ministry from the headquarter of the Holding Company for Water and Waste Water. The office of the First Deputy of New Urban Communities Authority will be allocated to Khalifa, the source said.
Dr. Abdel-Qawi Khalifa, Minister of Public Utilities, has held a meeting today to discuss means for water supply and the use of technology to provide and purify water, in order to avoid problems of water pollution, like what happened in the village of Sansaft located in Menoufia.
Moreover, Dr. Abdel-Qawi Khalifa, will hold a meeting next week to declare the ministry’s organizational structure, plans and goals during the coming period.
