State Information Service to Be Under the Presidency’s Supervision; Yasser Ali Suggests

Presidential Spokesman Yasser Ali stressed on the importance of developing Egypt State Information Service, to be able to effectively play its role in serving the government institutions in the internet era.

In a press conference held on the sidelines of the events of President Mohamed Morsi’s visit to China, Dr. Yasser Ali said proposals are being considered for transferring the Authority into an institution affiliated to the presidency or activating its role within the framework of  the media system.

He added Egypt State Information Service should provide effective services and media reports on external and internal affairs.
