Standard Chartered Bank got the annual Global Finance Magazine award of “best investment bank in UAE”.
Global Finance selected Standard Chartered Bank based on comprehensive standards related to market share, value and volume of deals, services and consultancies, organizational and structural capacities, distribution network, efforts exerted on dealing with market, creativity, pricing, reputation and share performance in the stocks, including the announced and completed deals in 2011.
“Best global investment banks in 2012” list will be published by next April in Global Finance Magazine. The Awards Ceremony will be held on October 13th in the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan with the annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary fund. David Ludlow, Regional Head of Standard Chartered banking sector in MidEast, North Africa and Pakistan, said that investment banks have faced unprecedented challenges in the last years locally and globally. This Award, Ludlow added, proves Bank’s commitment to its strategy based on serving customers and is an attest to the Bank’s continued success in UAE.
Noteworthy that Standard Chartered bank, founded in UAE in 1958, is managing the largest trading platform which constitutes of 200 seats.
