On the rubble of their once finished home two shell-shocked engaged Palestinians are setting, after the Israeli raid flattened the building at the end of March. Waleed El Shawa and his fiancé Naela El Galees have been preparing to get married in two weeks when their home was destroyed.
The targets of the Israeli raids on Gaza included the office of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and a five-storey building in central Gaza City it claimed was a Hamas interior security office.
The five storey building was actually a residential family home that includes the two lovebirds’ nest, that has taken painstaking efforts for them to build brick by brick.
