Hatem Dowidar, CEO of Vodafone Egypt, stated that his company has not filed a complaint against the advertising campaign launched by Etisalat Egypt to propagate the offer relating to lowering the price of the minute to 11 piasters during Ramadan.
In exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Dowidar added that filing complaints lies on the shoulder of the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority which monitors the offers, the performance of the companies, and is responsible for taking actions if a company violates the rights of the other two companies.
He emphasized that Ramadan offers did not affect the company’s consolidated profits at the end of the fiscal year, pointing out that these are temporal offers and will end after Ramadan.
