Samsung fans are most likely focused on learning as much as they can about the company’s upcoming flagships – Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, there’s another device that South Korean handset maker is likely to introduce later this month at Mobile World Congress 2018, a new tablet.
Even though the Galaxy S9 is expected to steal the show, Samsung has another ace up its sleeve, the Galaxy Tab S4. The unannounced tablet has been recently spotted at GFXBench, along with some of its specs.
Naturally, the Galaxy Tab S4 (model number SM-T835) is a high-end tablet, so it’s no wonder that it packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Although the listing doesn’t mention the name of the processor powering the slate, we can safely assume the Galaxy Tab S4 will include a Snapdragon 835 processor since it comes with an Adreno 540 GPU (graphics processing unit). Furthermore, a 12-megapixel camera may be included on the back side, while an 8-megapixel front camera will be available for those who like to take selfies. There’s no NFC (Near Field Communications) support, but the top-tier tablet will offer Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities.
Also, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 will boast a larger 10.5-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, and it will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo on board. It’s also worth noting that the Galaxy Tab S4 will include a SIM card slot, which will allow users to take and make calls.
