Egyptian Tax authority employees protest civil service law

Hundreds of Tax Authority employees gathered in front of the Journalist Syndicate on Monday to protest the new civil service law. The law, condemned by protesters as being ‘unjust’, was passed by the government last March with the aim of reforming Egypt’s administrative apparatus.
